Having just posted something positive about Alvarez elsewhere, any reason as to why he's been taken off? I know his September trial was not good and his appearances thus far have not been good either. Given his body of work, I'm wondering if there's an injury afoot.

With the 9 additional innings in the AFL, Dario has now pitched 26 more innings than last year. Perhaps he hit his 2014 innings limit.

As for Kuebler, he converted from 1B/3B to pitcher in 2013 and threw 81 strong innings in Savannah.

This season he only threw 58 innings so the club may be trying to get that workload up.

Chris is probably right on the money with that about Dario and Keubler, but the Mets always seem to keep you guessing with stuff
