LAST GAME: The B-Mets held off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 2-1, at NYSEG Stadium Saturday afternoon for the second straight game. The B-Mets scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on a two-out base hit from Jared King. Luis Cessa allowed a run and seven hits over five innings, for his second win. He struck out five without issuing a walk.Matt Koch pitched two scoreless innings for his first hold. He was followed by Dario Alvarez for 1.2 innings, who then gave way to Paul Sewald for the final out. Alvarez notched his fourth hold while Sewald recorded his fourth save, and second in as many days. The bullpen combined to throw four hitless innings, walking one batter and striking out five. The B-Mets have won the first two games of the series.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Michael Fulmer makes his 2015 Binghamton Mets debut. The righty made one start with the B-Mets in 2014, allowing six runs in 3.1 innings pitched in a losing effort at Erie. The 22-year old has made one start with St. Lucie (High-A) this season, allowing three runs in seven innings pitched. Fulmer went 6-10 with a 3.98 ERA in 19 starts with St. Lucie last season. Righties hit .230 against the starter, while lefties batted at a .338 clip.

NEW HAMPSHIRE STARTER: RHP Michael Lee makes his fifth start of the season and second on the road. The righty allowed five runs and nine hits in six innings pitched against Trenton, earning a no-decision. Lee allowed five runs in 4.2 innings against New Britain, in his lone road start this season. Opponents are hitting .297 against the starter, while lefties have hit him at a .408 clip. Lee has spent three seasons in the EL, including last year with New Hampshire. He went 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA in five starts. The 28-year old also spent 2011 and 2012 with the Portland Sea Dogs,  allowing 15 runs in 20 innings pitched against Binghamton in six career appearances. This is his fourth at NYSEG Stadium.

BULLPEN SUCCESS: The B-Met bullpen has not allowed an earned run in their last 21 innings pitched, excluding Matt Koch’s appearance in the resumption of a suspended gameTuesday. The pen has allowed six hits and struck out 22 during those 21 innings. The bullpen began with a 7.46 ERA in the B-Mets first 17 games of the season.

CLUTCH HITTING: The last six B-Mets runs, including all four in the series, have been scored with two outs in an inning. Seven of the B-Mets 15 hits in the series have come with two outs in an inning. Binghamton is hitting a combined .330 this year when batting with men in scoring position and two outs in an inning.

SIX OF ONE, HALF DOZEN OF ANOTHER: The B-Mets current six-game winning streak is their longest since June 2014, when they also won six in a row.

IN THE DAYLIGHT: The B-Mets are 4-3 in day games this season, losing three of their last five. Binghamton has been outscored 25-21 in the seven games. The B-Mets are 2-0 against New Hampshire in day games, outscoring the Fisher Cats 5-1.

HITTING STREAK: Eudy Pina is currently riding a 10-game hitting streak (4/20-Pres.), the longest for any B-Met this season. Pina is batting .343 (13-for-38) with three RBI during his streak. It’s his longest streak since 2011. Pina has recorded a hit in 15 of 16 starts this season.

SINCE RETURNING: Gavin Cecchini is 7-for-18 in five games back, after missing a week with groin soreness. The B-Mets have won all five games, after going 3-5 in his absence. Cecchini has scored nine runs in his last six games.
