Minor League Recap - 5-3-15

Minor League Player of The Night - Binghamton's Josh Rodriguez, with 7 ribbies.

Honorable Mention - Las Vegas' Darin Gorski

AAA - Las Vegas (16-8) 5 - Reno (9-15) 2

    RHSP Darin Gorski -  5.2-IP, 3-H, 0-ER, 4-K, 1-BB, 4.38, 2-1, 1-R, double, .600

    3B Danny Muno - 2-4, 1-RBI, .265

    RHRP Chase Bradford - 1.1-IP, 0-H, 0-R, 1-K, 0-BB, 0.00

10 straight for the Vegas 51's.  AAA Juggernaut.

AA - New Hampshire (13-11) 12  -  Binghamton (14-9) 11

    RHSP Michael Fulmer-  5.0-IP, 6-H, 3-R, 4-K, 2-BB, 5.40

    1B Josh Rodriguez -   4-5, 3-R, 2-HRs (5), 7-RBI,  .333

    RF Brandon Nimmo -  3-6, 1-R, 1-RBI, .287

Fulmer pitched well in this extra inning affair in his start yesterday, but 9 runs were scored in the final inning.  Binghamton only scored 4, so they fell a run short of re-tying the game.  Josh Rodriguez played AAA last year, so his fine numbers yesterday and for the year are not a surprise.

A+ - Bradenton (12-12) 11  -  St. Lucie (12-12) 4

    RHSP Kevin McGowan -  5.0-IP, 7-H, 3-R, 6-K, 2-BB, 6.20

    RF Yeixon Ruiz -  1-4, 1-R, 1-HR, 1-RBI, .176

    SS Amed Rosario - 2-4, 1-R, 2 doubles, .272

Ricky Knapp got clobbered in 2.2 innings of relief, allowing 9 hits and 6 runs.  After an explosive early start to the season, Champ Stuart now has 30 Ks in 75 oficial at bats.

 A--  Lakewood (13-11) 6  - Savannah (7-16) 4

    RHSP Marties Arias - 6.1-IP, 5-H, 5-R, 4-K, 1-BB, 3.47

    RF Wuilmer Becerra - 2-4, 1-R, 2 doubles, 1-RBI, .256

    SS Patrick Biondi -  2-3, 1-RBI, .317

Martirez Arias gave up 3 of his 4 runs in the 6th and 7th, so his pitching was better than his pitching line appears.  Savannah is really struggling.

GOAT:  Ricky Knapp.
