Tom Brennan - PRINT WORLD SERIES TICKETS, PART II

Tom Brennan - PRINT WORLD SERIES TICKETS, PART II

The Mets sweep the Nationals.  Shades of the Mets' amazing stretch drive in 2015 on their way to the World Series.

Amazing.

Adrian Gonzalez quintuples his RBI season total by hitting a very clutch grand slam, just when you started to think it was Washington's turn to win one.  Amazing.

The Mets now head to play a weakened Marlins team, with their rotation of Thor, Jake, and WHEELER...the Big 5 lives!!!  I like our chances for at least 2 of 3 in this series too.  Why not another sweep?

Maybe La Potencia will explode now that he is back in warm weather for 3 days - and I think it is finally supposed to warm up when the Mets return home this weekend.  I want 10 April homers from Senor Cespedes.  Not too greedy.

A 7-1 season start, and a 2.5 game lead over the for-now-Murphy-less Nats.  Looking good!  Looking GREAT!

Elesewhere, PJ Conlon killed it in a AAA start last night, Nabil Crismatt likewise in a completely dominant start in AA.  And Jason Vargas should be back soon.  And not too long thereafter, Anthony Swarzak, presumably.

Dom Smith had a single, double and HR Saturday too.  Alonzo has 2 homers in Binghamton's first 3 games.  Even Anthony Kay has a fine debut in Columbia.  Desmond Lindsay on base 4 times yesterday for St Lucie.

In other words, the Mets are firing on all cylinders AND have reinforcements, just in case they are needed.  And other talent rising as we speak.

Not too early to:

GET EXCITED, AND:

PRINT THOSE WORLD SERIES TICKETS!!

LGM!!!

I am camping outside Citifield today for WS tix - one can never be too early!

I tried to tell all the 70-80 win projecting folks that I felt the pendulum was swinging towards 90 or more wins.

Only 154 games to go - what is our magic #?
